If you are a person that spends a lot of you time doing gardening, then you might be interested in a garden wagon so that you can move the pots, plants and gardening tools that you use. This is a handy equipment to have because you need to move the supplies that you have bought from your car to the shed.

Supplies can be moved from the car to the shed and from the shed to the yard where someone is doing a bit of gardening. Heavy supplies will be moved easily by putting them on a cart and pulling it behind you. A bag of seeds and fertilizer will stop being a bother.

The carts are manufactured in various sizes and in different styles and designs. There are simple designs that you can find while others are more elaborate. Some carts can have some special features, incorporated on them. One feature is a dumping mechanism comparable to what is found in tipper trucks.

Special tires may be used on these carts, and one needs to decide what is the most pressing need that the cart needs to fulfill before buying one. What will determine the cart that you buy is the size of the yard where you will use it, as well as the terrain that surrounds the yard. Most people use wheelbarrows to move stuff around the yard but this may not be the best option for many people.

For example one needs to lift a wheelbarrow and then push it, and for heavy things this may be an uncomfortable equipment to use. It may not be possible for an old person to lift heavy things let alone push a wheelbarrow. The best solution for heavy things is a cart that can be pulled as opposed to pushing a heavy wheelbarrow. For people who are not in peak physical condition, using a wheelbarrow is not recommended. The load may not balance properly, and there could be problems with your back if you stoop over because you are using a wheelbarrow.

In addition to this, if the conditions are wet, then one may slip while pushing the wheelbarrow causing the contents to spill out. With a good quality cart, the load is evenly distributed over the four wheels. The cart has a long handle and this means that you can roll it easily without the need to stoop over.

One does not need to do any type of lifting while using a cart and the possibility of straining the back muscles are minimized. Heavy bags can be moved because the cart has a flat surface. Some carts have sides, and this prevents the contents that you are transporting from tumbling out.

Some of the handles of these carts have a mechanism for steering, and some can be hitched to your vehicle so that is can be towed. Some industrial types of carts have the capability of carrying heavy loads of up to five hundred pounds. Your gardening needs will determine the garden wagon that is most suitable for you.
