An Extremely Wonderful Product - Rolling Lawn Edger Review

The adjustable guide is a handy feature that allows trimming close to the sidewalk without creating shower of sparks. I recommend this product for anyone doing weekly edge trimming on their lawn.

The real test will be how it is working 5 years from now. The Black & Decker LE750 is a very nice machine.

My yard needs re-edging about every 6 weeks, so the time and energy I've saved since getting it is significant. Assembling this out of the box is a two minute job. There is no gas to mix, no cranking to mess with - just plug in and go. The adjustments are easy, the guide plate is excellent and I found it very easy to keep the blade away from the sidewalk and driveway.

You definitely need a soft grass and absolutely no stones. I guess in my case, I just chose the wrong tool. Overall a good product and a good warranty. It's a good option to consider when purchasing your new edger. Talk about 'the fleecing of America' when it comes to the consumer. It's all around us now and arguably getting worse!

Note to new edgers: Watch for rocks - if the blade sparks, you may be hitting a rock. I just went back through after reading reviews here on amazon of other users and felt inspired to try it again.

I tried edging with my string trimmer, but once it gets out of hand you really need an edger to do the job properly. One general piece of edging advice. There is NO comparison of the new edger to my old edger in terms of build quality, ease of use, and ability to cut through grass and dirt when edging. The new edger bogs down and runs out of power, and the quality of cut is worse than the old one.

It gives my lawn that crisp finished look I want, it's easy to use and it is consistent. In three years of use, I've only had to replace the blade once. This B&E is my first edger and I think it's the best edger. It has an extremely powerful motor and it guides perfectly. I was very pleased with this item. It is very easy to use and does a great job edging.

It goes on easily enough and the wear indicators will let you know when to change it. I bought my first home in May of this year, so I'm fairly new at lawn maintenance. All you have to do is attach the handle and put the pole together. The blade and wheels are already on there.
