Where there are young people, it is obvious that playing has to be done and therefore a playing field is an important asset for them. A playing field gives a child the time to grow in all aspect. For these to be achieved, a playground mulch is needed to keep them safe and as comfortable as possible.

One of the greatest advantages of mulching the ground is that grass may dry up or get destroyed with harsh climates. When repairing the ground, it will mean that the people cannot use it for sometimes until when okay to use it. However, the mulching process is fast and easier.

When playing, children are known to fall down a lot of the time. They may play games that require a lot of jumping that need safe landing. Since we cannot stop them from falling, creating a safe landing surface should be your central focus. Applying rubber for mulching is very essential for these fields.

Wasted or used up rubber equipments are grated to make the mulching. This is poured on the ground to cover the height of about over six inches and this will give enough area for bouncing. People may use other materials such as saw dust from wood that is clean and dry.

The rubber mulching need very little maintenance care done on it like the grass. It may stay for over twenty years serving the same quality purpose while the grass is repaired or replaced time after time. When the mulching gets wets, a soaker is used to dry it in a few minutes.

Another advantage of using playground mulch is that it is not a good habitat for insects and other rodents. However it is bio acceptable and therefore used everywhere. Grass on the other hand can harbor a lot of insets that can sting people as they play. It is also warmer than the grass during cool seasons.
