To increase your home's curb appeal you may need to upgrade some exterior aspects of your home to make it more inviting to potential buyers. There could be many reasons why your home is not selling, but one large factor could be its curb appeal. A lot homeowners are stuck in houses they can't afford to keep now, but the slow economy is making it hard to easily sell a home at the moment. Here are three inexpensive home projects you can undertake to attract more interest to your home:

Trim front yard shrubs: One of the most common complaints by home buyers is not being able to view the exterior of a home because it is blocked by overgrown bushes. If you have not trimmed your home's landscaping then do it today. An uncut row of shrubs can be a subtle signal that your home is not maintained properly. You can either cut your landscaping yourself or hire a professional landscaper for a day of work.

Install new rain gutters: Bright new gutters can give a home the look of being cared for and worth a further look. You can pay a gutter company to put up new steel gutters or you can put up vinyl gutters by yourself. They may seem like a minor detail, but old rain gutters can really leave a bad first impression. Rain gutters are both decorative and built for a purpose and they commonly give a home a finished feel.

Paint your house: Paying someone to paint your house can be expensive, so you may want to consider reading up on how to paint your home on your own. Nothing brightens a home more than a fresh coat of paint. You do not have to necessarily paint your entire house, but you could update the trim around the windows, your front door or even your garage door if you have one.

The more features you can have completed for potential buyers, the greater your chances of being able to sell your house quick. Getting potential buyers to your door step is the most difficult part of selling your house, and a little improved curb appeal can go a long way! Of course you also want to make sure that your walkway is clean, your grass is green and mowed evenly and there is nothing that needs to be fixed on the exterior of your home. Don't forget that many of people want a home they feel they can easily move into without lifting a finger.
