Our dearly beloved grandmother left this life just recently. And although she was drawing near 80 and had been riddled with health problems for the past few years, it was still a shock for us all to know that we would be spending the next family reunions without her any longer. Upon hearing the dreadful word, all of her nine children, including the others who live outside the country, flew in to visit their beloved mother for the final time and to give her a funeral service.

Julia lovingly nurtured all of us, and was always there for all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. After being married to our grandfather for over sixty years, you can say that our grandmother had a fully blessed life. So even if it was somehow expected that she would soon be departing this life, it was still a tough time for the family.

As anyone who has experienced losing a loved one know, only the best memorial and funeral service is satisfactory. We wanted to give our grandmother a really sincere funeral to respect her family and friends' time to grieve, though we likewise wanted to celebrate her life in an inspirational means. We asked for the assistance of professionals to organize the funeral as we were too overwhelmed to do so.

Everything was then taken care of smoothly and quickly, from the wake service to the burial set-up. The picked out casket looked simple yet exquisite, and the flowers were tastefully set up. Also, the guests were able to come to the burial site without hassle because of the pre-arranged transportation service.

We knew that although we could have arranged the funeral ourselves, it was a good choice to hire the services of funeral directors as we were all mourning. The professionals, we were all aware, would do it better.

While there were still incidents that the whole room became occupied with laughter and happiness, we were still able to maintain the atmosphere of respect and solemnity at all times. That was the way we exactly wanted it.

Funerals are a commemoration of a departed loved one's life, according to how others view it. Although it is difficult, as much as possible they just wish to think of joyous memories during the painful time. Although the pain of losing a beloved family member or friend is consuming, it is still necessary to give way to happy memories.
