When done with the washers, proceed to check the stoves and the ovens. In addition to checking this out, it is also recommended that you proceed to test the heating and cooling systems. It does not matter the season that you are currently in, always test these systems as you will need them when the next season arrives.

Having dealt with the appliances, you must also be sure to make certain that you establish the condition of the electrical system. An electrical system is a very important part of any household. In houses that are more than a decade old, always check to make certain that the systems have been upgraded with time.

Head outside to inspect the exteriors. Your main areas of concern here will include assessing the roof and the gutters. For gutters, confirm that they are not broken or allowing down spouts. It is important to make certain that the roof has all its shingles.

Having done your assessment, take note of all the problems that you come across. Sit down with the seller and see whether you can strike a deal on how these problems will be addressed. It may include having to lower the asking price.
