Individuals that have home that cannot sustain a yard or want to conserve water can choose to put in an an artificial grass Seattle product. This is an good option is a home owner would like to replace grass in their yard with a product that requires little to no maintenance. A professional can also be used.

Beginning this project requires marking and then excavating the area. This can be done with a shovel or by looking for a sod cutter. Many yard machines can be found for rent at a home improvement center or even a hardware store. You will need to remove all material that is growing in the yard.

Remove a layer of dirt to at least five inches. You will then need to rake the area smooth and then add a 3-inch layer of crushed granite or some other rock for the base. This is to allow water to easily drain off the surface. Compact the stone by using a plate compactor.

The base material will need to be damp before you proceed. You can do this with a garden hose using a spray nozzle. A plate compactor will then be needed to compact the surface. A layer will then be needed that consists of decomposed granite that is a depth of 1-inch.

Once you have completed the base, the product can be installed. Roll out the material over the base and then use galvanized nails to tack it into place. Go along the edge of the perimeter using a utility knife to trim the edges. Make sure to tack nails along the perimeter.

Tuck the edges down and you are almost done with the artificial grass Seattle installation. Infill is then added to the surface to ensure that the turf is weighted down. A broom is then used to sweep all of your infill to cover the entire area. You can now sit back and enjoy your new yard.
